I'm on Acrobat XI Pro in the Creative Cloud and I can't seem to make it work. DIANNE ARNOLD. The document properties show "no security" as the security method and No Restrictions on changes, etc.
However, it turns out that there is a trick involved in selecting the thumbnail. When when I tried to grab the thumbnail, I was clicking on the small navigation window that shows what part of the page is on the screen. The solution was to either 1 grab the bottom of the thumbnail below the navigation window and drag, or 2 reduce the zoom to show the whole page on the screen and then grab the thumbnail and drag it to the desired position.
If that detail is anywhere in the HELP files, I've missed it totally. Dianne, the process is still the same in Acrobat XI. Is it possible you are working with a secured document that doesn't allow changes?
